#90 Smashbox: The secret to looking like a celebrity starlet

I’m one of those lucky girls whose makeup always seemed to be sliding off of my face thanks to oily skin. Argh!!!

…. that was until I met Smashbox Cosmetics “Photo Finish Foundation Primer” in 2000 when I began doing the happy dance!

This product was created to minimize touch-ups during photo shoots so the photographers could stay in their zone. Models and makeup artists loved it from minute one and began to use it for every day, not just in the studio.

Being the makeup junkie that I am, I had to try it, and sure enough, it’s fabulous!!!

Smashbox Cosmetics takes a lot of pride in being the only beauty brand born out of a real photo studio, the legendary Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles which was founded in 1990 by Dean and Davis Factor. Dean and Davis are the great-grandsons of the Hollywood makeup legend Max Factor and in 1996 Smashbox Cosmetics was born. Between the word of mouth spreading the buzz in the industry and the fact that many of the glossy spreads were being shot at their studios, it wasn’t long before this beauty brand became popular.

In 2000 they launched what they consider their signature product, Photo Finish Foundation Primer and until recently, it was my favorite. Now that I’ve become more concerned with lines and wrinkles, my new favorite is the Photo Finish Foundation Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 with Dermaxyl Complex.
