#39 Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion: It may not be a pretty package BUT this award-winner is still part of my routine

I’ve mentioned before that I’m easily swayed by beautiful packaging …

With that said, it was difficult for me to embrace the multiple award-winning Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion initially because it does not come in a pretty package. Of course, that was before I saw it everywhere and, much to my chagrin, when I finally tried it, I loved it!

This economical drugstore cleanser was invented in 1947 by a pharmacist to safely interact with dermatological remedies. By 1964 dermatologists everywhere recognized this cleanser as gentle enough for all skin types and conditions, and a great alternative to harsh soaps. It is recommended by more dermatologists than any other brand.

The gentle and effective formula helps restore, protect and maintain your skin’s natural balance because it doesn’t strip your skin’s natural protective oils or emollients. I love that I may use it with or without water. I gently rub a liberal amount all over my face and remove the excess with a soft cloth leaving a thin film on my skin making it feel so soft and smooth.

Among the many awards given to this cleanser is Allure Magazine’s “Best of Beauty Hall of Fame” (a winner for over a decade), as well as Good Housekeeping’s “seal of approval” — one of the first (and most prestigious) “tested and approved” emblems in the US. The list of awards goes on and on, but I’m certain an informal poll among your friends and family will attest to this great face cleanser.
