Online shopping has become so convenient that I’ve neglected to physically shop at a “brick and mortar” store in a while.
I had forgotten how mesmerizing and alluring seeing and touching all the products can be. I spent hours in Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade Sephora over the weekend and I vowed to visit more often considering it’s a five minute walk from my home. Looking at all of the colorful, dazzling lotions and potions I was in product heaven. Of course, I could have purchased a plethora of items, however, I restrained myself and purchased only one.
The item I couldn’t resist was a body butter that looks amazingly gorgeous on my dressing table and makes my skin feel amazingly gorgeous too. Illume is primarily a high-end candle company, but their new Nomad body creams are sublime. The Illume display was rather stealth among so many vast displays in the store but these brightly packaged creams attracted me immediately. I couldn’t wait to try my Thai Lily bronzing butter when I got home and as I anticipated, this is officially “my new favorite product”!!!
